Saturday was a day full of activities at the Longines Masters of Paris. The adventure started around 1pm when me and other bloggers/youtubers got together to walk the course for the Gold Cup presented by Salon du Cheval de Paris / CENECA.

As a showjumper, every time I go to a show I walk courses but walking that one was a completely different thing. Can you imagine having all that people looking at you? It must be terrifying but incredible at the same time because the atmosphere is really unique.

After walking the course, we went to Lumas Terrace where we met Christophe Ameeuw, the founder and CEO of EEM. We had the opportunity to ask him some questions and I learned that Christophe has been a horse enthusiast since he was younger and because show jumping was the discipline that interested him the most, his ambition was to see this passion recognized in the world. Therefore, he launched one of the most prestigious equestrian events, the Longines Masters.
Christophe Ameeuw has also created the Ecaussines Stables, a place recognized by its role in the breeding and trading of quality sport horses as well as top level teaching for amateur riders worldwide.

Afterwards, we visited the stables, learned the routines of some of those incredible horses and I may or may not have spent some time petting and telling one of Reed Kessler’s horses how gorgeous he was! =)

As I told you before, one of the things that I wanted to do at the Longines Masters was to see the Pro-Am for Charity class. It was great to see all those riders having fun and jumping for a good cause! We even made a Mannequin Challenge!

At the end of the night we went to the after party, some of our Portuguese friends were there so we spent some time chatting with them, dancing and, like always, laughing like crazy!

Now that I’ve told you everything about this year’s Longines Masters, I must start saving for the next edition because I won’t miss it! ♥
