This Winter, vests have been my best friends, I am the kind of person who can’t ride with a jacket on but can’t also ride only wearing a shirt or a sweater, therefore, vests are a great solution.
My newest vest is the Essential Vest that I got from Noble Outfitters and I would love to share some things with you!
Let’s start with some info: the vest has a drop back hem, a slight racer back, zip secure hand pockets, an internal chest pocket with cord management, brushed tricot at inside neck and reflective logo detailing.
Now that I gave you some details, I will share my personal opinion with you. The vest is extremely comfortable and because of the racer back it is easy to move freely while riding. It is light – and by light I mean really light! – yet warm and the fabric around the neck make it extra cozy. The material of the vest is soft but doesn’t collect the horse hair/dirty easily.
Unfortunately, this is a size M instead of my real size that would correspond to their XS so it looks a little baggier than it should but if you check Noble Outfitters website you will see how the vest should look. Because of this little issue I will only wear it at the barn and not at the shows like I would love to – I believe vests like this one are the best thing to wear at the warming up arenas!
I was wearing Kelly beige breeches by Kingsland Equestrian, a navy sweater from Bershka and an infinity scarf by Women’s Secret. The vest isn’t available in this colour anymore, on the website you will only find it in black, persimmon, wine and blue ribbon and I recommend it to you but make sure you choose the right size and colour!
I hope the review was helpful and that you have enjoyed the pics that I took with the crazy ponies! Have a nice week! 🙂
I have the same vest from NO and LOVE it!!
It's great! Which color did you get? 🙂
How light is light? Would it be insulated enough for more northern European countries?
I too love vests/gullets and am always on the lookout to add to my paltry collection of two *blush*
When I mean light, I mean reaaaallllly light! Yes, I do believe it is insulated enough for more northern European countries! You would have to wear a warmer shirt than I did though!
