There are so many new great equestrian brands around the world that deserve being known by all of us so I thought it would be cool to share some of them over here!
I am going to start this “Brand Spotlight” series with Free x Rein. The “equleisure” brand was launched last December by Andrea Hippeau Vogel and Dana Schwartz, two equestrians who struggled to find chic options that would fit both their professional lives in the city and their needs as equestrians.
Since its launch, Free x Rein has had a huge success among the equestrian community – in fact, it’s rare the day I don’t see someone on social media wearing or talking about the brand and it’s easy to understand why: their clothes are a fresh and glamorous reinterpretation of the equestrian gear.
The collection includes figure sculpting breeches – YAY! – and performance enhanced bodysuits. Although I own a competition bodysuit from Horse Pilot, the concept of these is completely different as they were designed to look chic and not only for competition. There are three styles of the bodysuit: the Elite (my absolute favorite) for shows, Moto and Sportfit for training.
I can’t wait to see their next designs, Free x Rein has raised the bar!
